Established in 2011, the BisMan Community Foundation is a permanent endowment fund that will support our communities for years to come. Earnings from the fund are given as grants to support nonprofit projects or programs in the Bismarck/Mandan area that work to improve our communities and the quality of life of our citizens.
Gifts to the BisMan Community Foundation are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of state and federal law. Professional management for the BisMan Community Foundation is provided by the North Dakota Community Foundation, a nonprofit, tax-exempt corporation under IRS code 501(c)(3) and North Dakota law.
The BisMan Community Foundation is led by an Advisory Committee that awards grants from its fund every year. If you are interested in learning more about this organization or would like to serve on the Advisory Committee, please contact us at 701-222-8349.

Your gift to the BisMan Community Foundation will have a lasting impact on the quality of life in our area. The BisMan Community Foundation is a permanent endowment fund, which means the principal is never spent but the interest earnings generate grant dollars every year for area nonprofits. It is like having a savings account for our charities to help them with their special projects and programs.
Because the BisMan Community Foundation is managed as a qualified North Dakota endowment fund, businesses that give any amount and individuals that give at least $5,000 are eligible for a 40% State Tax Credit. Contact us at 701-222-8349 if you would like more information, or contact your tax professional. All gifts are tax deductible to the fullest extent of state and federal law. You will receive a receipt noting your gift to a charitable organization.
